Does buying options with cash allow for day trading?

If I were to buy options using cash, would I be allow day trading even if the amount is under $25k? If yes, which brokerage allows this?

You can use a cash account to day trade options.
However, you'll be subject to a three-day rule. This rule means you can only get cash to trade again after three business days following a security sale.
