Does eToro automatically reinvest dividends?
Asked 5 years ago
Dear community! I am new to eToro, and so far, I'm loving every minute of it. But, I have a question: I want to buy in on the S&P 500 Index. If I do, would eToro automatically re-invest the compound interest? Or do I have to do it manually? Again, I’m a total newbie so I would appreciate all wisdom shared.

No, eToro does not automatically reinvest dividends.
Instead, the trading platform will automatically credit or debit with a dividend payment in your balance if you hold a position in a stock, exchange-traded fund (ETF), or index that offers investors a dividend.
As a result, you will need to reinvest the dividends manually.
