Is there a minimum amount required in the account before one can day trade crypto?

Because the cryptocurrency industry is not regulated by the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) or the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA), there are no day trading limits on crypto.
This means you can day trade Bitcoin, Ethereum, or any other virtual token without a minimum amount.
Whether you want to day trade a few bucks or a few thousand dollars, the world is your oyster on the crypto day trade front.
