Can you get scammed on MetaTrader 4 trading platform?

Hi. I'm asking for a friend. They think they have been scammed while using MT4, is this possible? Thanks.

Yes, you can be scammed on MetaTrader 4. MetaTrader is a third party trading platform that connects you to a broker. Hence, MetaTrader is only as legit as the broker you're trading with. This is the reason you have to be careful when choosing a broker. Do proper research and choose a reputable broker. Trade safely.
