MetaTrader provides traders with a variety of execution modes for executing orders.
Market Orders are executed at the best available price when they are received.
Gapping/Volatility allows you to seize opportunities that may arise as markets adjust and react to major news or economic data releases by paying attention during periods where prices gap.
Volatile markets can be risky, but there are ways to protect yourself. Stop and limit orders may not execute at the price you requested due to rapidly fluctuating prices on volatile days.
Opening trades often differ from yesterday's close by much more than usual so make sure you're prepared when trading these types of stocks!
