Can you use MetaTrader 4 to trade stocks?

Hey guys, I have a question: Is MetaTrader 4 only for Forex Trading or can I use it to trade stocks too? Thank you.

Yes, MetaTrader 4 can be used to trade stocks. But, you'll need to make sure the broker offers stocks traders the possibility of trading stocks as they will limit their platforms to Forex or Futures otherwise.
Some brokers restrict their MetaTrader 4 platform solely for Forex and other types of trades like futures or contracts for difference (CFDs).
Additionally, many brokers impose various restrictions on equity & forex markets like expiry restrictions or stop-out level restations, which can either limit or cripple your trading performance.
