Although both Acorns and Robinhood are attractive to novice investors, the two financial platforms utilize different methods.
So, for example, Robinhood is popular for self-directed and zero-commission investing. However, Acorns provides managed asset funds that you can invest in with spare change.
Ultimately, if you want to trade stocks, exchange-traded funds (ETFs), or cryptocurrencies, you will want to use Robinhood. But if you want to invest small sums of cash automatically without monitoring the markets, Acorns is a preferable option.
It is all about how much you want to participate and how knowledgeable you are regarding stocks and the intricacies within the financial markets.
