What are Expert Advisors on MT4?

Hi, Is anyone here part of the MT4 community? I've recently installed it, and I've noticed something called Expert Advisors (EAS) on there. What are they, and how would I use them? Thanks in advance!

One of the best ways to trade is by using Expert Advisors (EAs), which are programs that can automate your trading and be written in MQL4 or purchased from a third party.
However, keep in mind that these EAs run locally on your computer but won't execute strategies when disconnected from a server.
There are also EA hosting services available for running an EA securely on their VPS environment for qualified clients.
