Can I have multiple accounts linked to one main account in TD Ameritrade?
Asked 4 years ago
I have TD Ameritrade, does anyone know if I can have multiple accounts linked to one main account? Both my husband and I have been lucky to have been deemed “essential workers”, so we gave the kids' stimuli to them, and seriously thinking of investing it in company stocks like apple, or Tesla, and leave it to sit there for 20-30 years.

Yes, you can have multiple accounts linked to one primary account. You can link TD accounts together or not if you choose after creating them. Linking them allows you to manage all accounts from either log in, making it a little easier. You dont have to sign in and out and sign into the other to manage.
Plus, buying stock in them is a wonderful idea too.

Yes, it's possible to have multiple accounts with the same owner and records. If you choose after formation, you can link the TD accounts together or not. Linking them helps you to access all connected accounts from each login, which makes it a bit smoother so you don’t have to log out and back in. Simply go to Client Services > My Profile > Link Accounts.
