Is it good for a beginner investor to use a Robo advisor?
Asked 4 years ago
Hello everyone, I'm a newbie here. I'm wondering: Since I'm new to trading and investing, is it worth investing my money using a Robo adviser or learn with a self-directed account? Thank you in advance for any guidance given.

Actually, you can do both.
You can use a Robo Advisor for a large chunk of your change. This investment strategy typically embraces a diversified portfolio that parks your money in stocks, bonds, precious metals, and exchange-traded funds (ETFs). So, it is a sound tactic.
Moreover, by taking advantage of zero-commission and self-directed trading platforms, you can get accustomed to the stock market. You do not need to put vast sums of funds in Amazon or Tesla. Instead, with as little as $1 (fractional shares), you can get a feel for trading, spot patterns, and learn so much more.
You want to utilize both approaches to get your money to work for you.
