If I want to reinvest every dollar of dividends, do I still claim it?

If you reinvest your dividend, your money goes directly to the company. Although it may be appealing to have your money in hand, reinvesting it will help you grow wealth. As long as the company continues to grow, it will be better to reinvest; if the company is struggling, just take your cash and invest it elsewhere.
