Which stocks pay the best dividends?

I'm looking to invest in stocks that will pay out monthly dividends as a way to increase the amount that I put back into my portfolio. Can you recommend any?

For a long time now, AT$T has been one of the highest-dividend paying stocks in the S&P with shares of the regulated telecom and media giant. It has been rewarding investors with regular dividend income than plowing its cash back into growth.
From now on, shares are reasonably priced at less than 10X forward earnings. Moreover, HBO Max, the company’s streaming service, offers modest growth potential.
The acquisition of Time Warner also gives the company a compelling degree of vertical integration, combining its status as a cable provider with the ownership of several popular channels, including TNT, CNN, MTV, Comedy Central, and others.
