There are many types of appreciating assets that can be investments, and it takes some time to gain enough information about which ones serve your personal needs the best.

Here's a list of types:

  • Depository institutions (e.g., banks)
  • Real estate (i.e., land, homes, cottages)
  • Publicly traded companies (stocks and bonds), private businesses (investments through an investor who has access to these opportunities).

However, before you jump into anything, make sure to do your research. It's also wise to take the time and visit a professional advisor before making any rash decisions.

You'll want to invest in something trustworthy and seen as valuable by other enthusiasts--you may not be an expert but at least stay ahead of scams with doing your homework!

Look for someone who genuinely loves what they collect themselves, and this will help ensure that they're choosing based on values instead of just values: cash flow or price jumps.

And remember: prices change over time, so don't commit yourself.
