Generally, there are a few metrics to determine if it is worth buying a dividend-paying stocks:
- The company's record of paying dividends.
- Regular dividend hikes.
- Financials (can the company afford the dividend payouts, or is it a gimmick to attract investors?).
To get started, here are a few month value dividend stocks to consider adding to your portfolio:

- Dividend (quarterly): $0.12 (June 14, 2021)

Pfizer (PFE)
- 06/23: $39.05
- Dividend (quarterly): $0.39 (May 6, 2021)
Suncor Energy (SU)
- 06/23: $24.75
- Dividend (quarterly): $0.175 (June 3, 2021)
